Officer Ready is a training platform built specifically for British Army officer applicants. It was developed by Tom Moffat, a former British Army officer who has worked on officer selection and leadership development from four angles:
The platform is the product of that experience. It is tailored to the AOSB process and is grounded in the approach that the British Army uses to develop its own leaders.
Officer Ready covers the assessments that AOSB uses across Briefing, Main Board and Main Board (Short), meaning it's relevant whether you're applying for direct entry, reserve entry, as a professionally-qualified officer, or for an Army scholarship. While the formats differ in length, the assessments don't.
The Countdown plan is for the final sprint. If your Briefing or Main Board dates are imminent, this gives you a focused, high-intensity window to sharpen your skills and test your readiness immediately before you attend.
The Complete plan is designed for the standard candidate journey. 6 months is typically enough time to attend both Briefing and Main Board. This option gives you the time to prepare thoroughly without the pressure of a last-minute rush.
The Committed plan is for those taking a more strategic approach. Many successful candidates start preparing 9 to 12 months in advance. This option allows you to space out your training, prepare effectively, and build confidence over time without the stress of a ticking clock.
Our performance analysis tool lets you compare your psychometric test scores with those of other Officer Ready users. Unlike other test platforms, our data is drawn exclusively from AOSB candidates, so you get a highly accurate picture of where you stand in comparison with your peers.
Officer Ready works on both. It is a browser-based platform rather than a mobile app, so there is nothing to install and your progress follows you between devices. A laptop or desktop gives you the best experience, but every aspect of the platform, including the psychometric tests and the Workout Tracker, is compatible with mobile use.
We are confident that Officer Ready will make a genuine difference to your AOSB preparation. However, if you change your mind within 7 days of purchase and have completed fewer than 10 sessions on the platform, we will give you a full refund.
